I need information on sites to host my blog (I have looked into blogspot, and a couple of similar sites but don’t know if they are allowed in China or not.) I would love any advice, and suggestions that I can get. Thanks!

Starting a blog in or outside China using a Chinese blogsite may be the best option for contiual accessibility inside and outside the PRC…there are many of them.

At various times, Blogger, Blogspot, and Myspace are blocked by the internet filtering system China has in place.
Flickr is a recent site blocked.

One day you may be able to read or submit to your blog on a western blog host, and the next day it is blocked from being seen in China.

Blogspot used to be available in China. And then suddenly, the great wall filtered it.

To view many blog sites continually you’ll need a great proxy server.

The internet filter makes it difficult for people wanting to view blogs or sites within a blocked range of IP addresses, even if the site they want isn’t the offending one the filter is really aimed at preventing access to.www.chinatattler.com

I have been to china many times. I found a good website for my pre-planning. It is always changing. You can contact tour guides directly for ideas and plans. http://www.itsaboutchina.com
