Is it true that Freemasons would never allow someone with a physical deformity to join?

to clarify I’m referring to someone with a congenital birth defect not simply disabled.

    In previous times, yes, they generally didn’t accept those with deformities to be a conventional Freemason; however, in modern times if someone has a disability that will not cause difficulties, they will not be discriminated against.

    Still true in some states (WV according to a recent news account.)
