When your child was very young, just enough to speak, did they naturally have any spirituality?

This is not for religious purposes. I am simply curious. For parents, or for adults who know about their early childhood, did you/your child, before or if you began to teach them about any sort of religion or spirituality, come up with his/her own idea of spirituality, god, etc.? Or did they have to be instructed in it?

I believe that the truly spiritual part of life is in mere conscious experience of existence, and that that is why we’re here. Does any religion, spirituality or philosophy have this view?

On Y/A Religion and Spirituality appear under questions about that topic, but that is not a category in the category box on the left of the screen?
How do I go straight to that category without first clicking on the question?

I should state that I know what religion is, but I do not get how spirituality does not go hand in hand with religion. The two seem like compliments.

Can anyone suggest a serious online forum dealing with religion & spirituality?

So many, if not most, of the questions and answers the the Religion & Spirituality section of Yahoo! Answers are entertaining & absurd. Other than being entertained, is anyone really benefited? If anyone can knows of a forum of serious discussions, it would be good to know.

I often see people in other sections saying they tend to stay away from the Religion and Spirituality section because it’s just way too intense for them. They often say it is the worst section to visit. In one answer I read just now, the answerer described it as a “ferocious environment”.

Do you think this is true?
Personally I find this section hilarious, it doesn’t annoy me one bit.

That religion/spirituality isn’t all bad and evil?
I’m an atheist and I can still see the value and importance that religion/spirituality play in the world. And the many good things that come out of religion/spirituality.
This question isn’t just exclusive to Christianity, Islam, or Judaism; but rather any and all forms of religion/spirituality.
How do you make any distinction between spirituality and religion?

We often use these words as if they were one and the same, or because we have seen them being used together. Has someone ever tried to comprehend what these two words “religion” and “spirituality” stand for in the exact sense. Is being religious means being spiritual or vice versa? I will love to hear your thoughts on this.
